Sportsman's Acres specializes in Wild Pheasant
Hunts but we also offer Dove hunting, Archery
Deer hunting, duck hunting and goose hunting,
or a number of different combination hunts to

Sportsmans Acres is located 70 miles southwest
of Sioux Falls, SD in the heart of pheasant
hunting territory. With over 8,500 acres, of
prime pheasant hunting habitat, managed to give
you and your hunting party a pheasant hunt that
is second to none.
Here
at Sportsmans Acres we pheasant hunt the old-fashioned
way, using dogs, walkers, and blockers at the
end of the cover. Besides offering a great WILD
pheasant hunt, Sportsman's Acres also offers
what we call "bonus birds"--grouse
and Hungarian partridge. We can also put together
great combination hunts, including: Archery
whitetail, Archery whitetail/pheasant combo.

Season Dates:
Oct. 16, 2010 - Jan. 2, 2011
DAILY
LIMIT. 3 male pheasants
POSSESSION LIMIT. 15 rooster pheasants, taken
according to daily limit. The limit accrues
at the rate of 3 pheasants a day, and 15 pheasant
may not be possessed until after the 5th day
of pheasant hunting.
NOTE: Central Time is used for opening shooting
hours, statewide.
Future Opening Dates: South Dakota's pheasant
season traditionally opens the third Saturday
in October.
